HowTo ProsperA mission of CLOH.Org is to strive for improved quality of life. To make better communities and community life for the individuals and families among our tangled web is to create real prosperity. To flourish and to thrive is to deal with real prosperity.
Perhaps the level of real prosperity in Pittsburgh is lagging because of our lack of low cost, high quality, narrow margin programs centered upon community building.
Narrow margin profits are part of the mix with the programs at CLOH.Org.
Exceptional Results via Exceptional ToolsTo make these projects a success in the communities, we'll need to leverage exceptional tools and a range of services with the internet. Exceptional tools such as eVote for decisions can lead us to democracy and matters of stability. For collaboration, groupware is requried, as is FLE3. No other non-profit organization in our market is using such an impressive suite of digital resources. These distinctions can make us effective. CLOH.Org's Mingling of Missions and Mentions
Interesting CharacteristicOnce started, a project develops some force that tends to keep it together precisely because of the possibility of forking. For the maintainers, this means they sometimes have to accept things from the community they don't like. Meanwhile, the community accepts the decisions of the majority, fights to convince them otherwise, or takes pains to start and maintain a respectable fork of the project. On both sides, natural forces try to avoid forking. Nature tends to create en equilibrium. |
