Exciting news, my friends! First off, thank you for being part of my community and growing email list where I share life updates, new opportunities I’m working on and my upcoming schedule for clinics with YOU and your teams!
Let’s get to the fun stuff: Tokyo was nuts!
I spent over two weeks in Omaha this summer and got to witness the US Olympic Trials from a completely new perspective. This was my first Trials since 2008 where I did not complete. Instead, I had the opportunity to work for NBC Sports and do live on air commentary as a media professional. Let me tell you – it is not an easy job by any means! I learned a ton and had the chance to work alongside Rowdy Gaines – an incredibly insightful experience!
The feedback was great and, as a result, NBC sent me to Tokyo, where I got to continue learning from the best of the best and work alongside Michael Phelps and Rowdy once again. What a treat!
On a personal note: Block Cancer
My family and I are overwhelmed by the support you all have provided to Block Cancer. It has been extremely fulfilling and given our family (and many others) extra strength during a very difficult time. The support I felt during and after the swim especially was reinforcement of what an incredible crew I have in my corner. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
Upcoming 2022 Clinic Schedule: I’m ready to meet some future Olympians!
Now that the Summer Games are finished and I have completed the Block Cancer swim, I will be keeping busy doing something I love very much – leading swim clinics with teams and the next generation of rockstar athletes. I still have a few open weekends below that have yet to be booked. These clinics will include working with athletes on technique, mindset and what I call the “Silver Lining Attitude”. I also carve out time just for coaches, as well as a separate parents Q&A.
