New USA Olympian in the women’s marathon qualified for 2020 games in her first marathon, the US Olympic Trials

She steps to the staring line in her first attempt to compete in a marathon, 26.2 miles, and crosses the finish line in second place after being given a stars-and-stripes flag as she earned a spot on the Olympic Team.
